METEORIC 1.1

The gameplay environment features a player's spaceship navigating amidst floating meteoroids and sporadic UFO encounters engaging in offensive actions. Players control the spaceship to evade collisions while also destroying obstacles. Initially, players have access to three ships, with additional bonus vessels awarded upon reaching certain score milestones and for successfully eliminating UFOs.

Upon commencing the game, the player's spaceship appears centrally on the screen, surrounded by between four to six large meteoroids approaching. The primary objective is to destroy these meteoroids; however, each explosion causes them to fragment into two medium-sized rocks, which can further break into smaller fragments upon being hit. Additionally, players must contend with unpredictable UFOs and saucers that pose threats.

Notable features include:

• Touchscreen-optimized controls designed for handheld devices.
• A floating joystick on the left side allowing for rotation and thrusting maneuvers.
• On-screen buttons dedicated to firing weapons, activating hyperspace, advancing to the next level, and exiting the game.
• Progressively increasing difficulty to challenge players at higher levels.
• Bonus ships granted upon reaching predefined score thresholds and for successful UFO eliminations.
• High score retention system to track best performances over multiple sessions.
• Compatibility with Bluetooth controllers; tested successfully with wireless Xbox game controllers.
